Samson Babama has been assisting Taguma Mukomberanwa for many years, and pursued his own life as an artist at the same time. They are also close family, and the “Mukomberanwa” characteristics are clearly visible in Samson’s art. It is a talent running in the family and it is an agreement among all of Nicholas Mukomberanwa’s sons and daughters that they have inherited certain features such as the large hands, the characteristic long faces and also sometimes twisted expressions in the face as a kind of family tradition or right if you will.
