Friends Forever is celebrating the two year's jubilee at the Art Center Berlin. The event is taking place on October 18th at 7:30 pm: You are very welcome! In October 2006, Friends Forever opened the exhibition of the Master Sculptors of Zimbabwe at the Art Center Berlin and wanted to stay there for two months. We have had no experience with exhibitions in such a big city and called attention with a huge poster on the glass front of the Art Center. Next to the entrance, a big sculpture of Colleen Madamombe was greeting visitors. The sculpture was sold before the opening! Now, after two years, Friends Forever is still at the Art Center Berlin Friedrichstraße. We want to celebrate with you. Visit the exhibition with new sculptures from Zimbabwe!

Sanomatalo – “Message House” – in the middle of Helsinki is a very lively place, Friends Forever welcomes around 200 guests at the exhibition each day. It is beautifully arranged in the atrium of the 10 floor high glass and metal building – the head quarters of “Helsingin Sanomat”, the biggest newspaper in Helsinki. 1000 journalists are working in the house, which is situated just opposite of Kiasma – Museum of Modern Art in Helsinki - and the main railway station. So, welcome to Sanomatalo to enjoy the art work by modern Zimbabwean sculptors! The over 150 exhibited sculptures of internationally appreciated artists are all carved in colourful and precious stones, that are a speciality of Zimbabwe. In 2006, Friends Forever has had its first exhibition in Finland – in Espoo at the Housing Fair, so we could invite to this second exhibition in Helsinki many friends. Our partner UFF Finland is backing the event in an excellent manner – we are happy for that repeated cooperation. The exhibition in Sanomatalo gives you the opportunity to experience the unique sculptures from Zimbabwe – as well as to purchase some beautiful art work for a reasonable price. Come to experience art, that you are finally allowed to touch!
